One of the coolest things that happened to me on my initial trip into self improvement, was the moment I realized I was being taught the same message from a completely different viewpoint.
It happened as I got deeper into researching and discussing the unique type of care my chiropractor was giving me.
He was teaching me how a healthy body translates into a healthy mind and that this repair extended to an improved life experience that stretched beyond mere spinal maintenance and pain relief.
The phrases and terminology were industry specific but he was saying the same thing my meditation mentor was teaching me at the same time.
That man taught that a sound mind equaled a sound body and that between the two, your perspective on life would change, deepen, and improve.
Two guys saying the same thing using different access points
This thrilled me to no end!
I happened to be undergoing an enormous life change for the better but the transition had been sticky, and full of doubt, fears, and terrifying physical symptoms.
I needed to know I was on the right path; doing the right thing.
Knowing that my plan was sound gave me the courage to continue down a road that defied conventional logic.
I knew I was right but there’s something to be said for unexpected assurances from new allies.
This translates to your journey too.
When an unplanned cross-verification and synchronization happens, you know you’re on the right track
These two men had never heard of each other and they were focusing on two different routes to wellness. But they both came to the same conclusions.
Really, I was ecstatic! I had accidentally given credence to my own plan.
Two people I trusted implicitly were leading me to wellness and their methods did not conflict.
Maybe this happens to you and maybe not.
I was so tightly focused on what each mentor was saying, each with his own vocabulary and access route, that it took awhile to catch the similarities.
You might know ahead of time what the message is and won’t be so pleasantly surprised.
But good mentors always have so much to share that I’ll bet some of these surprises will be lying in wait for you.
Bottom line, you’re not solely trying to find people who match
Unless you’re trying to cover all your bases in a specific niche, you’re simply trying to find answers.
If they match, it’s proof that your thinking is leading you down continually familiar roads
It’s up to you to learn if the roads you choose are the right ones.
The synchronicity is not an answer in itself. It’s just feedback showing you where your head’s at.
