For you to not only survive but prosper, you have to truly understand what drives you.
I built an entire website describing how I beat my bipolar disorder and the bulk of it had to do with “what drives you”.
See, that’s a little-known secret that applies to all areas of life.
Your drivers, the set of beliefs and instructions you use to make every decision in your day, consciously or not, are at the root of all that you are.
Are you being driven toward your goals or away from them?
This section of my site is devoted to survival but I don’t feel like going into what I actually survived and how; the individual steps. Too long, too painful, not the purpose of this site.
But I will tell you that you must look within yourself, honestly and without harsh judgment, to find why your life is as it is. Then you must discover what it is that you need to believe, in order to build whatever it is that you want the world to know.
My greatest resource for achieving this is Bill Harris at Centerpointe.
If you are serious about becoming all you can be and providing your family or those close to you with all you are possible of generating, then learn more about Bill. He changed my life. He’s part of why I am still alive. No joke.
Whatever it is that you do online, you need your intent to be pure. Most of us are here to make a living. Some just want to share whatever it is that makes them happiest.
Both paths are honorable. But if you are trying to make a living, or build a company, you have to be doing it from the right place in your heart.
I am building a company and I want my supporters to feel glad that I am
I am here to earn. I cannot work as an employee. I have my own family. I have value to give. So, I am fine with getting paid for that. But I also have to feel that I give my all at all times.
I have to know that I have done all I can for my visitors in a way that doesn’t martyr me or make them feel they were somehow taken advantage of. You want to be in that same mindset as you proceed too.
I’ve written elsewhere on this site about why that is. If you’re here to just make money, you might pull it off. You might do great. But at some point, it will be a hollow win or it will run its course and you’ll have to start all over again.
I want longevity. I want a legacy. I want my family to always be proud of the work I’ve done with and for others.
What do you want? And why?
Find out the answers to those questions and you’ll find that this all flows much smoother for you. And you’ll enjoy it more!
