Ideally, you’d want for both to be true. But the second one is the one you get to experience while still alive.
I imagine you’d find that to be as critical as I would.
Arnold’s done incredible things with his life and he’s still here to tell us about it all.
He’s still actively enjoying the fruits of his labors,
while building a legacy that will ensure his family’s security decades after he’s gone.
And you, the reader, know who he is without him having to be dead for that to be so.
Oh, he’s done some things that have made his shine a little less radiant but so have I. So have you.
The point is, he’s also done an astounding amount of good for millions of people
He can see the results of work he laid in many years ago still making people’s lives better. And he can physically tell his kids why he did what he did and why it matters.
I want this same thing for me and I want it for you.
How intense would it be to live the experience of watching what you built improve other people’s lives?
Plenty of creators and messengers have changed the world with their energy but it didn’t take effect in any large way until after they’d gone.
That’s fine for whoever you leave behind but what does it get you in the here and now?
Bupkis!
That’s a bad return on investment if you ask me.
If you have a powerful message to share or a wonderful product that will alter the reality of whatever niche it addresses, then let’s make it do so in a way that allows you to see the pride on your loved ones faces while you still have years left to discuss it with them.
Make whatever it is that you’re trying to accomplish become a matter of urgency
Get it up and running and producing results now! Enjoy it! Teach its meaning and use in your way, with your intent.
Don’t take so long getting this thing completed that the rest of us have to read about it in some archived or second hand fashion, because you’re no longer around to do it yourself.
What’s that gonna get you?
I want my kids not only proud of me but directly benefiting from the work I’ve done NOW!
Who is it that holds that importance to you?
They’re your reason WHY. Your drivers. Give them what they deserve.
