To step away from the beauty, the ethereal, and the awe-inspiring languaging we’ve been rightfully using thus far, we’d like for you to see that your body, on one level, is just another machine.
An incredibly complex, miraculous, and wondrous device operating via mind-boggling combinations of chemical, hormonal, and physiological systems, to be sure. (Short walk 😉 ) But, still, just a machine.
And just like your lawn mower or car, it needs the best fuel to run right. Consuming health food and vitamins is the human equivalent of putting high test gas in your vehicle.
People who regularly employ NSA in their lives tend to gravitate toward this habit, often without being told directly to do so.
They just know that to be the best they must eat the best!
It comes down to respect. You develop a greater self-respect. Your “self” becomes more important to you than it may ever have before. Your “self” is all you have on this Earth to lose.
All else hinges on the Self staying in one piece and in proper operating order so that all the other aspects of life can be enjoyed and all your responsibilities as a decent human being can be met.
If you lose your health, you lose the whole game
NSA draws you naturally to this conclusion. You’re going to feel this urge to feed yourself properly grow within you. It’s going to make itself known, in the early stages, when you try to eat any of the bad foods that may currently comprise your daily diet.
In some way, you’ll just know that you shouldn’t eat some garbage you’re about to eat. You will question the placing of such low quality items in your mouth as you go to do so.
Or, as you’re eating these comfort foods, you’ll notice their shine has faded. Whatever “goodness” you once gained from eating them will no longer be present. They won’t taste good to you any more. They’ll even start to make you feel bad: sick, jittery, nauseous, bloated.
This is your subconscious speaking to you through your taste buds and stomach
This is one way the mind body connection, of which we always speak, becomes a tangible thing you can notice, feel and identify.
Once you understand what’s bad, you cannot allow yourself to return to doing it with any regularity or at all.
It’s gradual and it’s relatively painless. You’ll just start to shift in how you eat. You’ll also shift in what information interests you about eating. You’ll start to notice people healthier and in better shape than you and you’ll want to quiz them about how they got that way.
You’re going to take an interest in the nitty gritty:
- Vitamins
- Minerals
- Trace Elements
- Micronutrients
- Macronutrients
- Antioxidants
- Phytonutrients
- Proper Hydration
- Probiotics
- And more!
You’re going to want to know what 3/4 of anything on that list even means!
And you’re going to want to see how you can improve segments of your overall physical system:
You’ll want to know how to eat to heal better and faster from exercise. You’re going to want to know what to eat to clear your arteries, purify your liver, repair the environment in your gut, improve your mental focus, sharpen your eyesight, get stronger in the gym, increase your endurance and stamina levels, and on an on.
And it’ll be fun and interesting!
You’re going to be drawn to a healthier crowd of people and they will see in you a like-minded soul. Again, most of this is subconscious and gradual. It just sort of starts happening in your life.
It’s a change but once you perceive it, there’s no going back. Nor will you want to once you get into the swing of it. Because as you get better at feeding yourself, the life you’ve always wanted, or a better one, will begin to appear for your efforts.
And new friends will appear to help you pull it off! All thanks to NSA and Reorganizational Healing.
