One of the best ways to heal ourselves is to focus on others, as a habit.
But when we’re racked with back pain, fighting acid reflux, dealing with shattered nerves, or reliving some tired, old, pain filled story we can’t seem to get out from under, we don’t really think so much about what the other guy is up against.
We can’t stop and think too deep on how miserable he might be when we hurt so damn bad! We got our own problems!
Ironically, feeling compassion for others is a sure way to remove the shackles of whatever’s got us pinned to the wall
So, as a chiropractic member or someone seeking answers to life’s bigger questions, you come to us to receive NSA care or to immerse yourself deeper in the Reorganizational Healing way of life.
The NSA entrainments are going to put your mind and body in the same room together so that they may speak to one another. Reorganizational Healing is going to give you a template to decide what that conversation might contain.
The result is going to be a lessening in your “negative” symptoms, a build up of personal strength, a brighter outlook on life, and a more effective set of operating instructions to face whatever hurdles may come your way.
Then you’re going to take a fresh look at your interactions with others
It’ll be an ongoing, gradual thing.
- As your load lessens, you’ll want to share with others how that came to be, for one
- As your pains cease, you’re going to be able to help others with their pains – those who you care for the most
- As your perspective on life changes and expands, you’re going to want to go have a greater positive impact on the world
- As you become more aware of your total self, you’re going to see what it is you were always meant to do
You’re going to become more proactive in any community of which you may be part
And to a degree, this is a selfish thing, albeit a pleasantly selfish thing. You will come to understand that the more help you can be to others, the more rewards you’ll gain in life for doing so.
Help other people get what they want and they’re going to help you do the same.
And then it goes even deeper than that.
The above scenarios looked at the tit-for-tat perspective. “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine.” But inside you, there will develop a need to help others completely independent of any reward.
You’re not going to care about what you might get for helping. The urge to help is going to become its own reward.
You’ll become selfless.
Which, ironically, is funny because you’re going to then get even MORE of what you want out of life.
Some people come to us possibly looking to further the growth of this positive side of their being. Others understand its value and readily accept its arrival as it comes.
But most of you are just in pain and compassion for others is not even on your mind, which is fine – normal even
Concentrating on others and trying to be a better person is frequently not the initial goal for starting NSA. It doesn’t have to be. You come to us for help and we’re going to give it.
Just know that these really nice events are waiting for you, somewhere down the line as we move you through the 12 Levels of Care in NSA.
There will be no need for you to search out this way of thinking and feeling. It is not a requirement, either. It’s just one more cool item that’s going to be added to your life toolbox, by default, for having come through our doors at Family network Chiropractic.
