Mike Wahl Patan Nepal: Mike embarked on a life changing, life affirming quest to settle the question of "where to go next?".

He encountered a wide variety of fellow travelers with unique agendas and witnessed customs of other cultures that changed his worldview forever.

Mike used to work with Ken Jensen as a security guard in the violent emergency room of a trauma ward near a crime filled city.

They became quick friends and were the only two guards who came to work with books to read to pass the time.

Known as "The Smart Guards" they often fought side by side to protect staff, other patients, and fellow guards as the ultra violent were brought in off the streets by cops and ambulance.

These were fun filled, exciting, and dark times for both men, as they strove to find a way to reach that next level in life.

Which, happily, they both did!
