After Bipolar Podcast

After Bipolar PodcastWelcome to the After Bipolar Podcast!

I beat bipolar disorder using an all natural system I developed on my own.

But I don’t consider myself free from bipolar.

It’s just no longer an active part of my life.

This is true due to the parameters I live by that keep “The Bad Old Days” from ever returning. I found out what The Beast eats and I starve it.

One of the things my Beast loved was meds

When I stopped feeding it all those pills, I eventually transitioned back into a rational human being.

That transition was its own nightmare. Living with the disease was to know the truest form of despair. And turning into a bipolar person was like a slow motion train wreck.

The whole thing was a hell of a battle for a number of years:

  • Bipolar Disorder: The Lava Lamp Disease
  • What Does Bipolar Look Like?
  • Immediately After Bipolar Disorder: 2007-2008

Fast forward to after the big battle was won: it turned out living as a “normal” person was, in many ways, even harder than living as a mentally ill person.

Who knew? (minor sarcasm)

I had a brand new fight on my hands in the form of trying to reintegrate into society and trying to understand how my new self functioned.

How I handled each phase of this story is the point of this podcast

There was a buildup to this mess, going back to my childhood. Then there was a trigger or two. Then there the fight for survival. Then there was the rebirth.

That’s all me. But I want to share more perspectives than just mine.

I’ll have guests from time to time sharing their similar experiences and what some of them have done to regain control of their lives.

Amazingly, I learned my way wasn’t the only way!

Again…who knew? (major sarcasm)

Now join me as we dig into my lobes and the lobes of other interesting folks who’ve done their time in the bipolar testing grounds.
